It’s been a hot minute since I’ve written anything up here, but I thought I’d try and give it another go. With summer in full swing and a little time on my hands, I booked an impromptu train to Dresden to see what all the fuss was about. History? Check. Culture? Check. Old buildings? Check…well kinda. Most of the city was bombed flat in WWII, but it’s all being rebuilt.

Worth a visit? I’d say yes; it’s the perfect weekend trip, 2 hours from Berlin.
