It’s been a busy few weeks since I visited one of the (and probably the biggest) Botanical Gardens in Zürich. It’s wonderful to find new things in the city and to go on new adventures even after you think you’ve seen everything. Even with all the walking around I’ve done in the past few months, there is still so much to explore both in the city and out.

While I had originally intended to write weekly updates reminiscing on the past week in Zurich, it seems I have gotten somewhat completely behind schedule. I don’t have an excuse; I haven’t been too busy, or lack for content. I just haven’t posted anything. Sorry.

It’s been a week. You’ve asked for pictures. I’ve got some things to say. So, here goes nothing

I’m moving to Switzerland. For how long? Who knows? Let me put it this way: I bought a one-way ticket.
A Photographic Depiction of Life in College
I walked this weekend. More specifically I walked across the stage at graduation (though I did do a little of the normal walking too). It was hectic, it was a blast, and I guess this now means it’s time to find my place in the real world. But I kind of have already.

It was my third time in Amsterdam and I knew there were exactly two things that I wanted to see: the Rijksmuseum and an exhibition of Banksy and Dali in the newly opened Moco Museum. Other than that, it was free rein: lots of good food, long walks, and (mostly) dreary weather.

Denver is exploding. I’ve seen more construction in the past two months than I had seen in the 18 years I spent growing up here. Many of the locals hate the change–it’s getting too crowded–but I’ve become energized by it. I say, bring it on.
A Moment in Time, Marco in Berlin, Photography, Travel
I wanted to explore new places while I was back traveling in Europe, but I couldn’t deny myself time to spend in my beloved city of Berlin. Partly I went back here to look for job opportunities but, really, I couldn’t resist the draw of the city any longer.

I flew into Budapest late at night and didn’t think much of it at first. I took the Metro straight to my hostel, and it being underground and pitch black outside, I barely caught a glimpse of the city. So imagine how surprised I was when I walked out of the hostel in the morning. It was like crossing the threshold into a dream: unforgiving cold, but equally as beautiful.

The Austrian Air Fokker 100 that flew us to Vienna seemed ripped right out of the past, but there was no complaining about the wider seats with more leg room that stemmed from a time of less cost-cutting. It was a sign of what was to come in Vienna: the classics in a modern city.
